MyLink Navigation Question

My "nav" and "dest" buttons on the faceplate of my MyLink radio do nothing. Is there a setting I need to turn on to make them work or is the radio defective? The touch screen buttons work fine, as do the other 6 faceplate buttons. Any suggestions or help is much appreciated.

Do you have the Navigation option? Stupid question I know, but have to ask.

Also, please don't make duplicate posts. Thank you much.

Yes. I have navigation. The navigation and destination buttons work on the touch screen but not on the faceplate. Sorry about the multiple postings. I wasn't sure which location was best to assist with my problem.

I would just take her into the dealer and have it fixed under warranty

Yeah, I'm leaning toward that. I thought perhaps it was a setting or something but after talking to a GM rep, I guess it's broke.

Do you currently have a case with GM customer service? Also, have you been to the dealership for a diagnosis?

Not sure if it would help or not, but in the radio
setting (if I remember correctly) there is a reset
button. Maybe that would do the trick and save
you a trip.

Good luck

Thank you for the suggestions. I went to the dealer this morning. They are ordering me a new faceplate for the radio. I hope that does the trick.

Can you ask them if you can keep the faceplate? Then maybe sell it to me

I was going to ask him the same thing. My 1LE doesn't come with Nav so I'll be attempting to do it once something gets released. Lol

I'll ask and see what they say. I just hope that's the problem and not something more significant.

I brought my car in this morning to have the faceplate replaced. When I asked them if I could keep the old one, they looked at me like I was crazy. The service manager said that they couldn't give me the defective part...sorry guys, I tried. As for the new faceplate, it works just fine. However, there is a few gouges out of my center console from the fix. They aren't that noticeable, but WTF?! it is a brand new car...I only have 300 miles on it. Any way, at least it works now.

I would show it to the dealer and have them replace the affected console cover, they scratched it they replace it.
