The stock mirrors. Learn to adjust your mirrors properly and you won't need those bubbles.

THIS. I have no blind spots, regardless of whether my top is up or down. I don't use blind spot mirrors, I adjust my mirrors correctly and look over my shoulders as I was taught before changing lanes.

Look at the mirrors on a new Mustang. They have integrated blind spot mirrors that look nice, and work well. Maybe you can find something similar as an aftermarket.

I saw these the other day. I would love to find something similar for our cars. Yes, I know you don't NEED them but it's my car!

Lean forward when looking into mirrors to see the blind spot, works great!

+1 I was always the type that adjust the mirror like every other average person does and that is I see the same thing in the side mirrors as I do in the rear view. I read about this type of mirror adjustment in another thread and decided to give it a try. I don't have mine adjusted quite as drastic as the person in the video because in a normal seated position I have mine adjusted I barely see the side of the car if at all and he leans against the window then adjusts it that way. Even though I am rarely on double lane highways it does help for parking and seeing if anyone is coming up behind doing the double car passing. The only problem with this is when a vehicle is behind you, with the mirrors adjusted out, I don't get a clear view what might be behind the vehicle that is behind me, such as an emergency vehicle. I usually just lean over a little once in a while and keep an eye out. Dean. |

I actually had this discussion with my wife not too long ago. She swears up and down she needs to see the side of her car in her mirrors, me I get right on the edge of seeing any of it. I know what's next to me. It's what is in my blind spot I need to know. She apparently was taught that way. She was taught wrong. This conversation usually ends with an "I understand" statement.

Adjusting your mirrors properly is the first step but I found these definately help. Very cheap at WalMart, I think they look fine & they have been there quite a while now & holding up well:
