ProClip or other phone+gps holder

I am looking into a ProClip center console mount for my Galaxy S5. Apparently, they make a dual mount for a phone and GPS. I'm curious if anyone has pictures or reviews of how awesome or goofy this is.

It would be nice not to suction the GPS to the glass or have to rip apart the dash for some kind of homebrew install. Any thoughts or feedback on this kind of configuration (or other products) would be helpful.

Are you able to put that in landscape mode/horizontal?

That cord would bother me, especially in front of the MyLink screen (I am jealous lol).

why not just the maps on the phone and ditch the gps?

i prefer the bracketron mounts over the pro-clip. i have been using the bracketron for many years.

I use my phone as a GPS frequently. But, why use the extra data when I can use my Garmin that has lifetime free map updates?

I will look into bracketron. Have any pics of it in your car?

Thank you!

I use proclip but the one that mounts on the lower center console, to the right of the gauge cluster. I love it !!

Update: I purchased a ProClip lower center console mount for my S5 with the charging cable. Should be here soon. If I use my GPS, I have the option of getting a mount specifically for the Garmin, but not sure how "hot swappable" it is going to be and if it's worth it.

I'll update with pics after it gets here.
