I have to say, the Audi club were super nice. Great group of guys, relaxed but structured. I can see why so many people sign up for their event. There was a big mix of cars. Yes lots of German cars as expected, a few British, and a handful of domestics too.
Yes, the weather... That's my excuse, and I'm sticking with it.
Audi club event was really nice. Would love to join them whenever they are having more events like this.

Thank you. Love this car, but I'm already dreaming of track day with ZL1 1LE someday.... (don't know when it is going to be... just dreaming. )

Awesome OP! Most of us here forget or don't know the CA6 SS is as fast as a fifth gen 1LE that also embarassed many more expensive cars. And with the brake ducts on and and better tires the standard SS is a great track car.

That is why this time around I am skipping the CA6 1LE, the SS is a better every day car. But I do have my eye on the CA6 ZL1. Drool. So I am stocking up on lottery tickets.

Not only is the SS a great track car it is fun to see what it can do in the hands of someone who can really drive putting it to an M4. OP do you have the bigger brakes?

Yeah I love Grattan too. Very fun and technical track. I respect those on bikes that run that track though. Off-camber turn, and a jump..... bit too much on 2 wheels for me.

Maybe I should start stocking up lottery tickets for ZL1 1LE too.
I do have bigger brakes for this car, sitting in my office, but not on the car yet. I still have couple of pads for 4 pot calipers, so once I'm done with those, I'll put on 6 pistons. Hopefully bigger brake plus 19" square with RE71 will save me a second or two on Grattan.
