For anyone not aware of the benefits of braided steel brake lines: OEMs tend to make brake lines from reinforced rubber hose, as it's cheap and 'does the job'. For track or high performance use it's much more preferable to use a durable flexible braided steel line. More robust against damage from rocks or other debris. The main benefit however is that the rubber hoses expand slightly under the massive pressures in the lines, this 1. reduces the force transmitted to the pistons in the caliper, and 2. makes the pedal softer and therefore more difficult to modulate (your brain can vary muscle force applied a lot more precisely than it can modulate the exact position of your foot which is why a good brake pedal should be rock solid).

I was pleased to find the new hoses will also give a total of 0.336kg unsprung weight savings.

HEL will make you a set in any colour or finish you like!

Just working out how to trim the wheel arch liner now to allow high pressure air to exit. There's an aluminium mesh insert going in the vent to prevent the worst of the stones / rubber marbles from being thrown down the side of the car!

GoPro mount

I've created another new product that may be of interest.

Direct replacement for the OEM sun visor mount which also encorporates a mount for a GoPro camera.

The flip down and unclip action of the sun visor works exactly as before.

I did it in purple so it would photograph better, but I can have these made in any colour including black. I'm guessing, but price would probably be around $25 posted to the mainland USA.

Would you mind going into more detail on your front tow hook? I noticed it on your instagram photos but don't see any details in the build thread.

Sorry I don't have any better pictures, but it was fairly easy to mount, just drilled another hole through the front crash bar and mounted with grade 12.9 M12 x 1.25 bolt.
Interesting, I haven't seen those in the US. Thanks!
