Being that this motor is a dry sump and has different needs, Nick the owner is trying to find one to build a specific Z-28 set. He is a gem to work with.

The nice thing is that the headers save almost 25 lbs of the manifolds and cats
You're in good hands with Nick... Great Job on the car and hope you get to dive into the black one real soon.

The next one (I believe you said was going to be Black) you should shave the lettering off of the FAST and paint it Satin Black. It will look stock. Keep them guessing... lol

That red Z/28 is bad ass btw...

Buy a new Z/28 and tear it down? I thought GM built these as a race car off the assembly line? Seems crazy to me.

Am I jealous? Hell yes!

Awesome!

Does it matter not having the tires not on the very tops of the rollers?

not really as long as it's strapped down well. The problem is if it's too shallow or deep on the roller and the car's tires somehow hook onto the ground.

I'm not into messing with the engine at this point but besides a 25lb weight reduction, what would a set of AR headers and tune add in terms of power gains?

guestimates please???

I've seen 12.0-12.2 runs. I think road and track may have done the quickest one.
