I'm waiting until Summer of 2011, but that's mostly because I need to get my wife's minivan paid off first. I figure all the dealer gouging will be over by then and, if history is anything to go by, GM will have probably bumped the horsepower ratings up a little as well.

I don't understand how you intend to afford what would be a very pricey Z28 model Camaro, when according to your previous post (see below) you can't even afford an SS model unless the GM employee discount is available on it.

Im waiting to buy one.....

I want to see one first ..... want HUD .... and more importantly i wanna save more money. Hopefully I will get one near the end of summer 09. Looking on here and seeing all these guys order is driving me nutz ... im dying to go down to the dealer and order one hahah

I am holding out. I am not excited about the first production year as it will be the wife's daily driver.

I am also waiting although not by choice. GM decided to wait another year to make the vert available so me and folks like me have no choice but to hurry up and wait and be jealous of all you coupe people that will be able to enjoy yours long before I can get my hands on one! :( I think we may need to start a support group for us vert people. There has to be more people out there that feel the same way!

I'm holding off to see how the economy does and to see if by fall i can buy an 09 corvette for the same price as a 10 camaro. I'd dearly love to have either one or both.. bottom line is the vette will be a LOT lighter and a LOT more fun to drive.

I am kinda on the same page even though I already ordered my car. I would love an 08-up vette with the LS3 motor. 10.8 with a cam package on a drag radial from ECS performance.

Waiting for the 2012 model year. Hopefully they will have more options like an anniversary package, police package or maybe 1LE. And I will have plenty of dough by then.
