He has not yet experienced in life, the long list of surprises that you end up learning from after they happen to you.

To say this would not happen to a GT500 or other competitor is pretty lame, unless you are buying a one off custom they are all mass produced and problems can happen to any vehicle. The bottom line is that is why the car is under warranty and GM will take care of the issue and make it right.

Cully what you dont understand is we have 40 thousand dollar cars with tops that are falling apart and leaking weeks not years after taking delivery. I had my first top replaced after 6 weeks then need another 10 days after I picked it up. I had it at the dealership for 2 weeks waiting on parts where it sat outside and the rear seat flooded. I'm still waiting on those parts and it has been 27 days. Plus the other 21 it has already been in the shop. I'm well past lemon law time in 3 months and 4 days of ownership. Warranty my ass. How can you fix something when there is no fix? Plus you have a hard top. Like Nutt said in another thread equate this to a rust spot starting on your roof and having a hole less than a month later. Then bringing it back to get fixed and then having it happen all over again. If you note frustration in my rant you are right. Almost everyone here on this forum has top issues. I have 65 people already on a Facebook group I set up for said problems. Hopefully Chevy will give me the buy back I want so I can get a do over next spring. Rant over

How often did you take your 'vert back to the dealer to get them to remedy the issue??? Sounds like you only went once. You know what? Screw trying to get the dealer to fix your 'vert. Trade it in. It's easier. Plus, your avatar is of a hardtop. I dunno what's up with you, man. Something's not right.
I've actually taken it to the dealer atleast three times and it's silly that I have to drop 55 grand on a car that has been into service more than my garage? Like wtf you would be pissed too. And granted I dumbed it by taking it through the carwash, but all of the money GM put into water test and shit, this problem should be more than fixed. And about my avatar, I've had a hardtop befor the vert, so it does make sense, and it's also one of the default pictures. Sorry if you have a little to much time on you hands to worry about my Avatar picture.

Not to mention but the camaro latch system better idea and more convient than the mustang.
for those of you that don't know mustang
our camaros have the centre handle latch release and then the power button
the mustangs have 2 latch releases one at each corner of the windshield and then the power button

so therefore camaro
