After rereading what a wrote I see your point. It’s more that glory day people annoy me. The best is still ahead. There are those that can’t move past 10-13 model year

As A daily driver I’d prefer a 2019 over a 1978 for sure. But I would like to own a 1969 for the beautiful Sunday afternoon. |

I’m 46 and have had 16 vehicles myself (that’s me alone, not including the wife’s 8-9 or my sons’ vehicles I bought them), so I embrace change.... but not for sake of change! I want improved styling, mechanics, features, etc. I love the 6th gen over the previous gen. I was very close to buying a used 5th gen to mod and tinker (my Camaro is a toy, not a DD), then I saw my first 6th gen NGM up close in person and started reading about it. So I bought a new 17 2SS with magride, NPP, etc. Until I see some nice mods for the cosmetics of the refresh, I’ll keep my 17/A8 at least til we see the 7th gen. To me it’s not as anywhere near as pleasing to the eye from the front or back as my ‘17 (I’m indifferent on the hood). And I wanted to like it, because I want the A10.

I think the Camaro people done a better job on the 2019 Camaro refresh then the Corvette people did on the front on the 2019 ZR1 . I can't wait to see the 2019 1LE in person myself .

No thanks. I know people keep saying that it grows on them. I'm just the opposite. The more I see it the more I hate it. In all honesty I'd buy a charger first.

You are correct I believe that only a full Adaptive Cruise Control offers any type of automatic braking or collision avoidance... A full ACC system uses FCA and automatic breaking and automatic acceleration, but FCA by itself is only an Alert. From what I can tell, Camaro does not yet have full ACC, but they are creeping up on it. Good luck. |

I had a similar reaction when I saw the 2SS in NGM with Kalahari. Loved it immediately and recognized that optioned with magride and NPP, it was superior to my 13 ZL1. I’ve looked into a 2SS 1LE but don’t see that can happening until gen7. They won’t deal on the new car and the hit on my 16 is too large. As for the 19s look, I like it but as mentioned, I typically do like new including the Lexus. UK Reveal July 2015

This just makes me want the Zl1 even more. Unless a great 7th gen appears!

At what point does the sexy Camaro show up in that video? The car shown has the same disgusting front as all the other 2019 SS refresh pics/videos.
It wouldn't be so bad if there were more color choices. Then I could at least drive it from the dealer at delivery straight to a body shop to have GMs mistakes fixed. But I'm not repainting a whole damn car. I'll just wait for the 7th gen and hope for better styling and more color choices. I was ready to buy a 2019 until it was unveiled. Hopefully there's are better changes in the next few years. At least I'll have even more $$$ saved up by then.
