I personally would not remove the limiter but if you want to, go ahead and post up a video lol

It may be a tad more because I believe the 2011's had a few more ponies. I can't wait to find out mine though now that I've gotten through the breaking in period.

Congrats on finding your top speed though.
nope same exact engine. Just certified to say they have more ponies. no difference

Is it unusual for a 2.0L Nissan sentra to top out at 135? It was my previous car and that's what I hit. Cop came by when I was doing it and I got so scared. I hit 40 like 3 seconds later and he just kept going. Scariest driving moment yet.

Tempted but wouldn't dare try on my 2lt

Hrmm....my 1LT RS hit 120 mph much much faster than the V6 in that video. I guess the mods really are helping put down a good deal more power.

These V6 engines are nothing to slouch at. Putting down some nice numbers.

I haven't even gotten to 90MPH in my SS yet! I am kind of depressed about that fact, but I am really not going to do it on the street. I need to go to the track!

Did the maker of that video start out in 2nd? The first shift is at around 40mph and I can't tell if that's into 2nd or 3rd. If it's 2nd, then he finally shifts to 5th at about 144mph. lol

LOL ice covered lake. talk about drifting!!!!! I think I would love to see someone acheieve 155 on an ice covered lake!

Montana used to have a "no speed limit posted" road but have since attached i think an 80MPH on it.

I wont lie. I have had mine up to 118 before the gov takes over. I want to run it just once at its full potential. I remember when I was even afraid to drive 90 in my civic. When i drive my maro.. well lets just say you are there before you know it.

From what I've read, the LS has a lower speed for the limiter to kick in....but I'm sure it would make the same power, right? Just different tires than the LTs????

yep. same power. it's limited to 118 because of the tire rating on the LS is lower.

How much is the ticket for doing 150+ mph on public roads, or do they just throw you in jail?
