It's definitely an idea. I am still wanting to get a cruise going for Sunday morning so I am working on finding a nice route to take. A track day sounds cool too, I'll start looking into it.

temple academy dragway... its not too far from roundsock so it would be an ok cruise and its supposed to be one of the oldest tracks in texas still in use so it would be cool to see how the old farts used to do it...(just kidding on the old farts part hahaha)

I'm really contemplating canceling my gig on the 20th to go... But most likely I can't make the 20th date... I will be planning on getting out that way in maybe October but I have to find a bar or two that I could perform at and earn some tips at to help offset the cost of a 12 hour drive and hotel stay!

Alright ladies and gentlemen, for those of you not following this in the other thread here is the deal. We are trying to get together a statewide meet in Austin. Possibly a cruise, lunch at Salt Lick BBQ, show and shine in the Round Rock Express Ballpark parking lot, and then attending a game.(Not necessarily in that order)
