i was aware that they would not offer the bumble bee paint job due to the price of that type of paint. i was hoping for a yellow to be offered with a similar tone to the yellow used in the movie. i've seen a few chevy trucks around my neighborhood of late in a yellow color i like, so i'm staying optimistic that i will get exactly what i want

Hugger Orange, baby. Hopefully the orange they make for the new 'Maro will be a little more... I dunno, ostentatious... than the Hugger Orange they made for the 4th gens. It looked more red than orange.

It would be nice if they do the vert concept's Hugger Orange paint, but that's the same story as Bumblebee. It's too expensive.

I'm wrapping my new Camaro in a "Nascar" theme with the company I own as the primary sponsor. The whole car is a business expense including purchase price, gas, insurance, top dog status, etc.....

How do you know this?? It would be extremely stupid of GM not to offer this color or try and make it close..If Orange Metallic exists as one of the color's, how hard could it be to get a metallic yellowish/orange color..?

It's already been stated that the Bumblebee color was a custom job that cost a ton of $$.

A yellow may well be offered. It may even be SIMILAR to Bumblebee. But it won't be the exact same shade.

My choices would be: Yellow/BumbleBee Yellow w/ the stripes (Which ever they offer, Red, or Silver.

I know that Valspar's Sunrise is very costly paint, however something similar to the color wouldn't or shouldn't be out of the question. Yellow is always a color option, however velocity yellow is too bright.. Taxi Cab yellow is closer to the Bumblebee color without the metallics.. However almost every paint nowadays is metallic which leads me to why a metallic orange/yellow can't be produced that is similar and cost about the same as red metallic or orange metallic for example..

We're not saying a similar color won't be offered, but if you're expecting to get yours in "Bumblebee Yellow" and expect it to look like a flawless clone, you'll be disappointed (for more reasons other than the color, obviously). Close, maybe, but we don't want anyone to get their hopes up for the EXACT color.
