Will do this for a week and if it doesn't eventually stop I'll go get anti-seize and put on them lol |

After a day of driving including a decently long trip last night, it seems like my headers are not rubbing my steering column so the fitment I'd say is pretty good for $350 headers |

Yeah that rubber boot isn't on the earlier cars. With it off there's even more clearance.

I have the same headers and I zip tied the boot down to give a little more clearance so it wouldn't touch the header tube

I got a few things I got to zip tie but for the time being I think I'm alright
Very happy with the fitment, I've googled threads on here where people have bought other more expensive brands that rub the steering column, so I'm really happy with my $350 deal. Need to ziptie a ignition wire off the tube sometime this week, noticed on the actual wire it says heat resistant so I assume it'll be alright for a few days |

How do they feel without tune? When I install mine I'll probably have two / three weeks before I get my tuning done.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the picture you showed look like it had high flow cats!

I imagine this sort of thing the ECU needs to be told that it's moving a lot more air now to make it run at it's potential off road connectors, they do look like cats though |

Do not put anti-seize on the header bolts. Thats not going to accomplish anything, other than making them back out even easier! Get some BLUE loctite (not RED) and apply a little and you'll be fine.

Anti-seize will work just fine that is all we use here in the shop on header bolts and they never back out. I have had cars come back years later and and the header bolts are still tight!

Sent in my order sheet for a mail order tune by PCM of NC
Been talking with Kelly for about 2 weeks now via email, she has been very helpful and answered all of my questions! She told me I could just take my ECU out, drop it off and they'll get it tuned ASAP. So I guess I'll do that Friday more than likely. |
