Ok, getting ready to pull camaro out of hibernation

Dropping the wheels coming Tuesday to get them powder coated gloss black.

Some other goodies ready to go...

I am interested in getting my wheels powder coated as well. What shop are you using and what price did they quote you if you don't mind me asking? I live in Mass as well.

I'm using New England Coating in Worcester, $85/rim. I just dropped the rims this morning.

Got the rims back today from the coating guys, very happy with the results

installing them tomorrow.

So a little FYI to anyone who is planning to get the zl1addon pinch weld bolt on, if you have one of those jack stands with V type top, this is how it will sit on jack stand...not enough clearance to put them in cross fashion.

Installed the wheels, IMO black rims have totally changed the character

looks so much better with the red. Also installed the SS center caps.

I'll be pulling it out for first drive this week after 4.5 months, mid week looks warm and sunny. Also received letter from RMV about vanity plate ready for pickup

Wheels looking great! Question - what percentage did you go with for window tinting? I've been thinking about it doing either 35% or 20%.

I kept it at 35%, the legal limit here.

thanks bud, SS caps really stands out! I can't wait to paint the calipers red, only if weather could turn somewhat warmer..

Looks good. Have you considered black lug nuts? I think they would look better to black out the wheel entirely.

Yes, definitely swapping them. First I ordered Gorilla 71643 ones and have returned them since they look too slim. Now have gorilla 96643 on order, these should fit and fill just like stock ones.
