Rear ended
does anybody know whats the price for a rear diffuser? Got rear ended today a small hole in the diffuser. its not that bad but still kind of upset. Some dumb a** decides since he missed his turn, he wants to stop in the middle of the road to reverse and make his turn. WOW

The insurance company will write you a check based on the cost of a new diffuser, plus labor to remove/install the old one, plus any other damage sustained in the accident. When you are a claimant on someone else's insurance, they can write the check directly to you. It's not fraudulent, so long as you don't try to double-dip with your own insurance company (i.e. report it as hit and run), and as long as you satisfy your lienholder's rules for repairing the car if it's financed.
