Texas Speed Cam Dyno

Dyno results are in. Running a Texas Speed 225/236 .629/.615 cam, ported factory heads and all the bolt-ons. Cam made great power with awesome drivability. Car is a 1LE.

I know, I was not trying to get to 500 and I knew it would not with the small cam. I think it would have done it no problem with the stage 3 cam. I was hoping for 480 so it was all good.

nice numbers..should be shiftin at 7k so get the limiter set to 7200..bottom end is fine and as long as you did all the good things to the valve train...should be golden!

peace

I wish I would have put in good johnson lifters, these LS7 are kinda noisy, although they might work they are not quality enough for aftermarket cams and higher spring rates. I might swap them out next winter along with some jesel shaft rockers so I can fine tune the preload.

The car runs hard, its actually hard to find spots to rip on it 1 thru 3. It cruises like a baby then when you lay on it, all hell brakes loose.

Thanks for the tip! I guess I am really picky and should leave well enough alone, the dyno shop said the car sounds perfectly fine.
