Why won’t 2014/2015 brake duct kit work?

I have a 2012 Camaro SS. Been looking everywhere for some sort of brake duct kit. I cannot find anything.
GM makes a kit for the 2014/2015 cars.....anyone tried to modify it for the 2010-2013 cars? Any idea what is different?

Different front end and wheel well liner shapes. Aftermarket with true ducts are better anyways.

That is an excellent link from Nick S... I had not seen that one before. Might go that route, but I agree aftermarket is probably better but I can't seem to find a decent aftermarket kit. It doesn't look like Quantum makes them anymore either. Any suggestions?

The Nick S write is pretty good and you can find a set of fender wells from a 2014/15 1LE fairly cheap.

They aren’t called Quantum’s anymore - google lambert automotive. Seems to be same kit just different name. I’ve got a set of them for sale in the classifieds. I have both the Quantums and a set of fabricated ducts to get air from the grill to the liner to the deflectors to the rotors.
