Caliper question

Does any one have weights stuck on the front break calipers? They are just on the front and look like the stick on weights for balancing wheels. The calipers are Brembo.

Thanks.

Like roller skates? These were to control early model brake noise/squeal:

Are these what you see?

Outside of that, mine didn’t. Possible those came off a wheel in the past? If they are true wheel weights, you would not need them on the caliper...

These? It's what is on mine. I think this was used to reduce noise prior to the roller skates.

The 2010s had the weights stuck on the calipers. Early builds had the dealers add them when a customer complained.

From ~mid 2010+ builds the brake pads came with the 'roller skates' to dampen the harmonic vibrations.
If you want to rid yourself of the weights on the calipers order pads for a 2011. They will come with the dampers attached.
