OK!! ENGINE DIED AT STOP LIGHT

Had been out driving... Normal conditions and normal driving. Pulled into Shell and filled up on Super VPower. Pulled out to stop light and motor idled rough for 5 secs or so and motor died. Started it back up and it tried to die but I kept revs up and got the green light. Drove a mile to next light and the idle dialed in at 600 RPM... Put 50 miles or so today on it with no,problems...

Any thoughts?

Fuel issue. Run unless repeats.

Agree...

Sounds like trash in the fuel...did it throw any codes or check engine light?

If not then I wouldn't worry too much.

could be a bad batch of gas and/or filled up at the wrong time (tanker filling up pumps) it mixes the tanks and you get all the garbage clogging lines/ filter up. when you see a tanker at the station dont go there.

2nd tank of gas... Both the fuel from dealership and this fuel up were Shell VPower. No codes... No alerts... Just shut off after 30 seconds or so of RPMs going up and down...

My whole life that is my motto after a friend of mine got a full tank of water.

I have said this before but everybody ignorantly ignores the warning. But the base map from GM has issues, my specific car detonated while doing baseline dyno pulls on 93 pump at damn near sea level. I'm not supprised people out there are experiencing issues, but I'll say this one last thing on he matter. Ignoring it won't make the problem go away!

High probability of condensation build-up, water in fuel.

Give her this medicine, and call me in the morning...

I refilled the tank with about 6 gallons of different fuel and am going to add the gas treatment. It has not happened again either
