Any well know performance shops in your area? If they do a lot of work on 5th gens they should have some stock exhausts (unless they've already gotten rid of them).
You might want to call around. The local shop I was going to for work, had a bunch of them just piled up from customers getting aftermarket exhausts put on. |

Wow someone is going to get really Lucky. That guy on e-bay is asking $1000.00 for his used exhaust. I am having a Black Friday SPECIAL on my used exhaust for only $550.00. Hurry All, This price is for Friday Only.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't the eBay sale an L99 and not a LS3 exhaust?

I got $5 for 2 systems at the scrap yard awhile back... I just set them out on front of the shop and they're gone the next day... Not worth the time.

I have 2 of the 'mufflers' with tips sitting in the back of my truck, hoping someone will steal them. No luck so far.

What I have found is that some of the L99 guys will pay $150 or so for an LS3 exhaust. I keep one LS3 exhaust here at all times for the most part for this reason.

I think it isn't a bad idea to hold onto a cat-back for a bit, if you have the room. We all know that often people will go through a couple of different systems before they find the one they like. This would make it easier to go back to stock sell the existing after market and find the one you like.

Sometimes V6 owners like to buy them since it's a direct fit and larger pipes.
