I was under the impression that a ZL1 brace would not clear the factory non-ZL1 hood.

Are we all aware that ther are two differant braces from GM? There is the 'vert/1LE and the taller arched ZL-1 . AFAIK,the ZL1 brace will not fit a non-ZL-1 hood.

I have a 2011 and my dealer got one for $141 bolts included. Holes were pre drilled and it went on in 5 min.I pu on the red and black and an artist friend painted the heartbeat. That added about $120 so the whole thing was $261. I'm happy with it.
