I dunno man, I just paused the video at the headlight and compared it to the cruze and the LED running light is the exact match. Only thing that I couldn't make out was the amber turn signal but the rest of the light, LED to the inner reflector, is identical. It does seem really silly to show a cruze at the festival of speed though...

very disappointed,

it's really sad to see how these companies lose creativity, well now the camaro has a look more generic and less special by the way the new cruz looks great

They're both Chevrolets. You realize Impala has halos just like the 5th gen?

And if Corvette design cues make it to the mainstream cars you better believe the lesser Camaro will follow suit.

Im not really seeing much of a resemblance to a camaro. Maybe some small design cues but thats about it.

seriously? either im blind or some people really must be trying hard to find things to complain about. The resemblance is BARELY noticeable. The DRL are shaped the same? omg hold the phone...the entire assembly and shape of the hood/headlight area isnt very similar at all. The grill is totally different shape. They dont look ANYTHING alike. In fact the only thing i notice is the DRL...the cars dont resemble each other in the least. Its really not even close.

I know looks are an opinion...but to think this looks like a camaro is just plain wrong. period.

If you want to see similar look at a fusion and mustang...this isnt even the same universe. That car is selling like hotcakes and plenty of people love the styling. And they literally almost copied a large portion of the fusion front end. So GM uses the same DRL shape and they are going in the wrong direction ? Even if it was very similar to the camaro, mustang went that route and it is selling like crazy. Not sure how thats a bad decision either way. Brand familiarity and recognition plays a part with keeping long term customers as well.

Yet again...people loving to hate on GM...when Ford has already done the same thing only 10 times worse.
