Paint??

I have a 2015 1SS 1LE and it comes with a flat or satin black hood. I need to know the best way to get rid of water spots and keep them off. Any help would be great,

I have used distilled white vinegar to remove hard water spot from base coat clear coat auto paint I don`t know how that would react to your flat black paint.
This was a YouTube video I came across a few years ago.

Thanks for posting this; we have some of the hardest water here I've ever encountered & my wife's CUV sits outside where, when the wind is blowing, it gets showered from the sprinklers. I've tried just various methods to remove them, many of which take hours. I'm going to try this to see if it works as easily as he says/demonstrates

Wrap Water Spots

I use Windex Multi-surface with vinegar. It also removes any grease or oil spots.

Your 1LE hood is not paint. The black out is a vinyl wrap.

This has worked flawlessly for me. Just wipe off the excess, and it dries evenly back to a smooth matte finish.
