Extra capacity oil pan?

Hello guys. Recently finished my current build. Basically everything but short block is done. Running a Melling HV oil pump. Took car to a Airstrip Atrack on Saturday. Made 3 back to back 1/4 mile passes and noticed some possible lifter noise from driver side head. Running LS7 lifters in Frankenstein heads with BTR trunion upgrade. Doing some research tonight I came across the possibility of the Melling pump sucking the stock pan dry???
My question is do you guys upgrade your oil pans? And if yes what pans do you recommend?
Thank you guys for any help!!!

LS3 pan is 8qt. It would be pretty hard to suck dry. I was running a 355 model and never had an issue. even on a road course.
