Alignment specs for 2014 2SS
What specs are you guys recommending? Different from factory height to lowered? Mostly a street driven car. Thanks

SO for a lowered 2SS with Sway bars and a couple other odds and ends which one should I follow? The thread says there may be typos in the OEM Specs.

I went with aggressive street and I'm happy. Also lowered with sway bars, trailing arms, etc.

So JPSS aggressive street is the ones you guys are recommending, Any driving issues or tire wear issues? I at times may take a 1,000 or more road trip ( not often but at times ) is drive ability an issue in this situation? Seems the specs are quite abit different. Thank you guys

How your car behaves depends a lot on your wheel tire setup and what mods you have. I borrow a rack and do my own alignments. Ive tried several different alignments from oem to near track spec. I’m lowered 1” with BMR springs and BMR adjustable sway bars. Pete’s Aggressive Street is a good choice and works very well around town. Because I do a lot of spirited canyon and mountain runs, I’ve settled on -1.6 camber in the front and -0.8 in the rear, and 0.10 total toe in (0.05 per side) both front and rear, on a 275/40r20 square setup with my sway bars on the middle hole front and rear. Keep in mind, when lowered, you’ll probably need camber bolts to run anything less aggressive than -1.0 camber in the rear.

BMR suggested adjustable Toe Rods for lowered cars to deal with the Toe/Camber issues. I really wasn't planning on getting them since they are quite a bit more than the Non Adjustable ones. Are they really needed?
How do these specs look? I was thinking Street Performance. BMR recommends the following alignment specs: I was thinking Street Performance. https://www.bmrsuspension.com/siteart/install/SP019.pdf Bottom of page.

The BMR specs aren't that different from the JPSS Aggressive Street. I know that JPSS's were modified through the years as he learned more about what worked and he spent a lot of time setting up 5th gens so I would go with his.
Reading them does remind me that you might want to check what you need to make the front castor adjustable. I used JSPSS camber lock plates which are no longer available. |

JPSS doesn't have a website? I cant seem to find one. Are adjustable castor plates necessary? I am not tying to redo the whole suspension.

JPSS is out of business. Most of the specs recommend increasing castor. The JPSS castor lock plates were simple plates that moved the holes on the front lower control arm and locked it in at about 7 degrees. If I remember right, it's possible to use adjustable camber bolts in that location but they tend to move. The subframe actually has plates to hold adjustable camber bolts in that location that the factory never actually used. The increased castor makes the car more stable at speed, which I liked.
