As far as the pan , i have two options , I have the cross member cutt kit , or pull the motor . Wanted to see what my friend can do when we cross that bridge . See if we can get it out without having to cutt the cross member or just cutt it and be done with it . Either or I believe I got my bases covered .

Well got the heads off and after taking it over with my bud about plan of attack . We decided we’re pulling the motor , planning on doing the cross member anyways for functionality so I can get to the oil pan .

Well I’m gonna holler at tsp in the morning to price out forging my bottom end as pulling the motor open a new door for me .

Just got off the phone with Dereck over at tsp!! Dereck is tops btw!!!
Was surprised how reasonable the price was for a forged I beam rod and piston .

No gotta get ahold of machine shop to see what they’re schedule is like . We only have one up here and I’ve heard good and bad things at both

Update :

So after some research , I decided to not forge my rotating assembly , instead save up after licking my wounds from this build lol to buy a better suited block that can handle a lot more along with the right rotating assembly . My tuner will be able to keep my motor alive .

So after alittle mishap with my fuel system I ended up upgrading to a L4 triple pump . Waiting for my boxes to arrive to ship out my heads and super charger to get max effort port jobs done .. plus reinforcing the brick and solid isolator . I didn’t have time to build my own boxes .

Boost mode racing will be handling the porting job . From what I’ve seen they do really good work and are very knowledgeable with ls platform and has been really professional with me and my questions and concerns ..
Gonna be running a Zpe griptec 2.45 upper / nw 103 mm tb

Will be pulling the motor this weekend . Now that I got my wind back in my sails lol I’ll be moving along with all my planned mods . Pics to come ..

This has saved me at least four times already from pulling the engine. This was before I did my rear main and oil pan gasket.

Thanks for the pic bro gonna help me out a lot when it’s time to cutt my cross member after the motors out figured it be easier and I’m able to keep it clean with the motor out , cutting from up top instead of from my back

Regardless the motors coming out anyways , as I have new rear main seal abd sac city barbell to put in . Plus it’s gonna be easier to install the monster clutch to the motor and install it that way .

George just got a set of these in the mail to me yesterday. If You're interested, you might want to hit him up now. He might have an extra set. It took a couple months of waiting for me to get these.

Yeah I plugged my oil pressure bypass valve too. Now my pump (10355HV) spits out 80 psi at wot. The oil bypass starts to bypass at 70 psi even though most believe it bypasses at 50 psi. The 10355HV also comes with a higher pressure spring that will get you to over 100 psi at wot.

That’s nice . No threat of running oil pan dry? What spring did you go with ? .I was thinking since doing the bypass delete and such that I could just run the spring that the 10355 came with .

When I first put the pump in I used the higher pressure spring which got me to over 100 psi at wot and I did a lot of wot pulls and never experienced running the pan dry. Then here lately I switched it out to the spring that it came with which gives me 33 psi at idle, 50 psi at cruising, and up to 80 psi at wot. The only reason that I switched the spring out was because I had the pump out for inspection and thought I didn't really need over 100 psi. I was afraid of blowing out the rear main more than anything. lol.
