NMCA is proud to host the 50th Anniversary Chevrolet Performance COPO Camaro Shootout presented by COPO Parts Direct at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, the weekend of August 22-25, 2019. This “golden” anniversary celebrates 50 years of COPO Camaros with a special drag race class, celebration luncheons, racer happy hours, a huge free part raffle…and much more! This special event takes place the weekend after the Woodward Dream Cruise and the weekend before the NHRA U.S. Nationals.
Watch as Summit Motorsports Park’s pristine racing pits fill up with NMCA class cars as well as a massive turnout of modern and vintage COPO Camaros (tributes & clones welcome)! Participants, crew members, and family will celebrate COPO Camaro’s iconic heritage with activities that include a COPO Camaro-only drag racing class, Thursday and Friday Happy Hours, Friday and Saturday COPO Camaro Shootout luncheons presented by Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center, and a huge Friday FREE parts raffle exclusive to COPO Camaro vehicle owners.
