Scosche is supposed to be out with their kit at the beginning of 2011... I would imagine metra has made a killing being the only offering on the market (other than full custom). having some competition for sales on those kits should bring the market cost down on them as well. Without competition, I would imagine the price will hang right around the 200 - 250 range for quite some time.
Not sure what Scosche will charge for their kit, but I would imagine since the bar has been set, it will be priced similarly... which begs the question - what do you envision the cost of your kit to be? smaller margin and more sales (profit through proliferation) or bigger margin and market competition? or niche-market custom application and damn the cost? (my personal favorite)

We are going to try to keep this down in cost as much as we can, but since we arent going the cheap route it wont be down in the 300$ range. Im guessing around 600 or so, but as for final pricing I have no idea.

that kit from the DTS kit looks fantastic, if it the price was in the $500-600 range that would great for a kit, I would be down for a kit because I NEED Nav!!!
