i put the high beams on and i heard i loud thump! wth is that???

It's to simulate the sound lights used to make when they popped up from the hood on the older models.

I'm kidding, I was wondering too.

as long as im not the only one and its not a defect i wont worry about it..but still never heard that in any car before

Its the shield moving to unblock part of the bulb for the high beams since we have Bi-Xenons..Normal...

after reading the comments from the post i made about the high beam thump i wanted to look at the head lights on and....bam there a nice thumb or finger print on the hid lights...really?

..whos to blame for this one?
