Camaro V6 vs 335i?

Camaro V6 vs 2011 335i Convertible?
Both automatic.

Camaro V6 2LT, MRT 1.0 exhaust, Roto Fab intake.

335i - completely stock.

Probably the Bimmer. Googled some specs for the coupe, which is probably only slightly faster than the 'vert. The thing is twin turboed, has lots of low-end TQ, and is lighter.

Although on this site, they got a 14 sec 1/4 for the 2007 'vert. A modded Camaro could definitely beat this.

No chance for the V6. 335 can do low 13's stock which is what some Camaro SS do. So essentially would be better matched with an SS. I know some SS can hit the 12's but not all.

*Edit* I didn't see convertible part. High 13's for that. It will still take it assuming equal skilled drivers.

The N54 dynoes 278 whp/ 290 lb-ft bone stock. The N54 is highly underrated.

this ^

no race for the v6...try a 328i for comparison

and i don't know if you know the guy with the Bimmer, but he may have a JB4 tuner on it which cuts about another 0.5 off

Stock for stock, we'd definitely lose. However, since the OP mentioned mods, the Camaro might have a glimmer of hope—at least with the convertible, since it's heavier than the coupe. This one ran a 13.983

Wow, I didn't realize these were 50-60K cars. In that price range, it should be 335i vs ZL1.

Anyway, I say race & find out

The bimmer will win unless you get headers/tune/3.73/4.10 gears and then you can take it.

BMW twin turbo 6 FTW.

They are nasty little cars especially once modded.

With your mods your looking at around low 14's to high 13's the lt1s have around 240-250hp at the wheels(manual)

you also screwed yourself with a flowmaster exhaust(look up magnaflow) flowmaster mufflers flow worst then the stock one.

Why are you asking us to tell you who would win? GO RACE HIM ON A TRACK SO YOU CAN TELL US.

After reading about that car. I would have to agree with you. Only way I would beat that thing is NOS, or turbo. lol
