HUD and Polarized Sunglasses
Anyone else notice the HUD fades significantly with polarized shades on? Can't just be me? I don't know what could be done to help, but it does kinda suck when I need to see it in bright sunlight (late afternoon on a track day, for instance). It makes sense, since the polarization reduces glare and the HUD is a reflection on the windshield.
Any ideas? I know, "non-polarized shades?". But just can't seem to find a pair of wrap-arounds I like and didn't want to have one pair of vehicle specific shades. |

Yep. Two choices. Non polarized or tilt your head sideways while you drive. I experience that with the Camaro and same thing on my Cadi even though it's newer and the HUD is far better.

Same issue here on a 2014. I bought a pair of shades at the local Harley dealer that apparently aren't polarized. I only use them in the Camaro, which isn't the solution you want, but they work OK - not perfectly tho.

Yes, almost useless with my polarized, prescript sunglasses on.
