Latest 2.0T review from Car and Driver

The latest print edition has an article that is titled "A Case For The V6". Mostly negative stuff.

I don't have a link to an online version. But the last line of the last paragraph of the article says this...

"Camaros aren't for everyone, but a Camaro with a 2.0 liter turbo is, shall we say, for no one."

Ouch.

That coming from Car & Driver isn't a surprise they said the same about the 5th Gen V6 when it was released. I bet they didn't even test the car just listened to some V8 critic who drove one and took away atleast the six has 2 more cylinders.

I couldn't find this article online, but I did find this one

http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...t-drive-review

It doesn't seem that bad, but it does seem like they prefer the v6

The new article from MotorTrend seems to say the Camaro 2.0 is pretty dang quick in a straight line, and a fun handling car, but just so-so on the track due to the all season tires and the smaller brakes.

Not nearly as negative as you say this article appears to be.

What 0 - 60 and 1/4 mile times did they get?

I gave up my subscription to Car and Driver since they seem to have an unnecessary bias against Chevys for some reason. I read the article on the 4T and couldn't believe they were talking about the same car Motor Trend wrote about. If you've noticed, the 4T puts a fairly sound trouncing on the Mustang in the quarter mile and with equal tires, will run away and hide from the Stang on the road course. I love the idea of a light weight sporty car like the Camaro 4T. Did I see that Motor Trend is saying something like: "Is the Camaro 4T the new Miata?" Now that's saying something.

I have that engine in my Malibu Premium LTZ and I think it makes the car a great road trip car and it gets better than 30 MPG on the highway at 75 mph. I love it, torquey and a great mid RPM surge as the turbo spools up.
