ZL1 with Carlyle Racing 15" Conversion + Weld Racing Wheels

Added Car Photos:

I am just finishing up my 15" wheel conversion on my 2013 ZL1.

Carlyle Racing 15" Conversion (Lower Control Arms, Trailing Arms, Drilled and Slotted Rear Rotors, Carlyle Racing Rear Calipers, BMR Xtreme Rear Sway Bar)

Also did the Carlyle Racing Billet Lug Nuts and Front Wheel Install Kit, Hubcentric Rings, Camber and Toe Adjuster Bolts, Drilled and Slotted Front Rotors and Longer Rear Studs and 3mm Spacers.

This setup is replacing my 20" Mickey Thompson Et Street S/S and 20" OEM Wheels. I Cut 1.5x 60 Foots but Broke the Inboard Driver Side CV.

Wheels and Tires:
Weld Racing 15x10 S71B Rears with Single Bead Lock
Weld Racing 17x4.5 Alumastar 1 Piece Fronts in Black
Mickey Thompson 325/50/15 ET Street R's
M and H 4.5/28R17 Radial Front Runners

I had to Trim the Rear Inner Fender Liners and Grind a Little Off of the Brake Line Bolt Locations on the Upper Control Arms.

I am just waiting on a $2 valve stem which weld forgot to ship and I will post pictures of the car.

Setup keeps full use of the MR Shocks and still has the Parking/Emergency Brake. Also tires are all 28" tall and should not throw ABS codes.

God I'd never do that to my car and I don't give an f how well it would make it perform. That's just me though. Putting an NT05R or MT ET Street on the stock wheels is good enough. But enjoy it, bet it runs like a raped date .

Guess so...I just like my cars to be nearly as pretty as they are fast.

To each their own... I personally think a proper strip car looks sick as hell with runners on the front and fatties on the back. These are probably the BEST looking Welds they have ever come out with

Looks are personal taste.

I personally wouldn't spend $1 more to have the "upgraded" polished wheels but that's just me.

If that Valve Stem would ever show I could get the tire mounted and get pictures up!

I was torn between the 5 Spoke (Alumstar and S71B) or the Multi Spoke (V Series and Vektor). This thing has a nasty (means business) stance just sitting in the garage!

Updated with pics of the car.

Still waiting on center caps for the rears and it needs an alignment in the rear.

Front rotors should arrive any day now.

I just finished mine Friday.....Weld's and had them powder coated.. 2013 ZL1 # 7860 Car looks great ! Mark Carlyle has a great set-up....Easy install. I couldnt do skinnies up front due to me running 1/2 mile events a lot and need the extra contact patch to help me slow down from the 170's.
