I'm about half way done on an install of Oracle dual halos but have a question on wiring. Where is a good spot to hook up the positive wires where they will turn on and off as the stock RS halos that I am replacing? I was told that the wires to the stock halos have a resistor on them so they aren't that powerful so I shouldn't use them. Basically I want the halos to only come on as they were stock.

A resistor? Hmm I've never heard this. Jonathan or AAC, can you guys elaborate/explain or confirm on this?

Hey, I am also getting ready to install these onto my 1LT 2010 camaro. I did NOT get the DVD with my kit, and I got the bulk remote box. Each of the lights have three wires (two black and one red). I also got one switch with the kit. Where, also, would be a "handy" place to put the remote box? I am very excited to install these, but I am just very confused on the wiring for them.

You can put the controller in the engine bay. I used 3M tape to mount it to the frame.

Has anyone just skipped wiring the halos to any other light wire and just used the switch they come with and a 12v source? I think I'd like the idea of having a switch in the cabin for just the halos.

Does anything bad happen if you "forget" to put back the very top bolts in the fender well that were a pain in the butt to remove?

No. All 3 times I've done the install I've "forgotten" to reinstall those nuts.

I think one of mine has been gone for 2 years now. Too much of a pain to put back in, even more so with 22s on. I think it just helps secure it more but not technically needed.
