Heated seat

First post..

I searched and couldn't find anything about no power to
drivers heated seat..

Heres what I did so far...

Repaired the broken wire behind drivers heated seat. Apparently this is a common item needing repair. Still no operation.
1.5 Ohms thru heating element.

Removed seat and checked power at the connection under seat..no 12v with seat turned on.

Removed control module under seat and looked at board..didnt see anything burnt. The relay in module does click when heated seat control light is on.

Checked fuse under hood.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

It’s typically a burnt wire in the seat back. I had that and fixed it. But now no power from the module.

There are zippers behind the seats to access the wiring. Good how to on YouTube. That may be your problem. Pretty easy fix if that’s it.

Worth a shot checking the fuse under the hood though. But something made it blow if the fuse is blown

My experience, the wires eventually fail from too many "getting in and getting outs". I did a small write up a few years back.
