I talked with the dealer the other day about replacing the muffler with a resonator.
He said that if there were a mechanical problem with the car and the dealer thought that the modification caused the problem then the warranty would be void. So in the end it could be up to the individual dealer. So one should keep the original muffler just in case one needs to put it back to avoid this issue. |
