Fuel pump driver module

A few days ago my car turned off on me while i was driving and when i got it home I checked for any codes. It threw the code P025A (fuel pump module control circuit/open) so I bought the fuel pump module and replaced it in hopes that my car would start. When it didn’t start I checked for codes again and now the code it gives me is P0602 (control module programming error) i thought the dealer had gave me the wrong part but when i told them they assured me it was the correct part and that it might just need to be programmed. To get to the point, do i have to program it or what do i have to do to get my car running again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The dealer is so stupid they don't know they're required to program it for the vehicle it goes into. It ships from the factory with zero code loaded. God dealers are morons, lol.

If you are talking about the FPCM, it is inside the cabin, inside the passenger side rear panel, about 6 inches behind the seat belt.

So, you have tear apart the interior to access it? Man, what a stupid location!

Its pretty easy. remove rear seats then the panel comes out with a few clips. Rear seats are just held in by a thick wire pushed into a helding clip.

I’m pretty sure my 2010 is located in the trunk on the right side, did they change location in newer model years??

Nope, your fuel pump flow control module is behind the right rear quarter panel trim panel

Its much better there than under the chassis like the trucks where road salt dirt and the devil can get at it.

No, but that is where the FPCM fuse is. It is also where a lot of people will install a Boost A Pump.

I just got this code while driving today P025A. I know the OP hasn't logged in since 2018. Anyone else here resolve this code by replacing the fuel pump module? In my situation the car starts and drives fine... at least for now lol.
