I just picked up some footwell LEDs from them. I waited too long for ABL matching but their cyan is really close. Got them installed yesterday.
As far as a controller goes, I would need at least a 4 zone controller. I like to ability to independently control each channel. I don't even know of a controller out there right now that can do that, but I haven't done a lot of research either... |

I just noticed i cant use the NightOwl App on my new phone (Iphone12).
After some read up in this and others threads regarding this, i need to buy an older smartphone to use for my Camaro only, preferably an android one. Could anyone advise me, what exactly does the phone be able to do for nightowl to work? Like, what BT version or which android version should i buy or avoid. Im gonna buy a used older phone, as its just for the nightowl system alone.

I use my 4th or 5th gen ipod touch. I can check versions of the ipod and iOS if you are interested.

Do you have an older device to install the app onto and just use it for the car?

Yes I do. Got an old nexus 5 as an example… but also could get an old iPhone. What was the latest iPhone it was running on?
One other question, does anyone have the old install video / instructions and could put it on something like Dropbox for download? I moved and seem not to be able to find it…

Still running a 6.0.1 and lucky me I still have the app on it! Didn‘t even remember that. Instantly froze the phone and disconnected from wifi. But wouldn‘t mind if you have the app package in case the phone dies at some point.
Thanks!

For those with Apple products, this article tells how to connect to a Wi-Fi AP (like the Master module) and still maintain a cellular data connection.

Im on the Edge of buying an iPhone 5 or 5s just for the NightOwls. Wanna see them shine again.
I guess I need to jailbreak the iPhone and somehow copy the NightOwl App on it. Is it that easy? I don’t have the app anymore in my files on my desktop I think.

It would be easier to get an older, Android device.

Ok.
As of now I borrowed an old Samsung GalaxyTab my mom doesn’t use anyway. Installed the apk, and finally I can manage the lights again. Now that they work again, an old problem occured also. When I park the car and set the NightOwl system to „idle off“ so they are off, they Halos sooner or later fire back up, showing the whole neighborhood where my Camaro is parked and people telling me I forgot to switch the lights off. When I look into the app, it set itself back to „idle to default“ again.
