I guess in the global economy, you have to consider the amount of profit that stays in the US versus the competition. For example, if a toyota corolla had 60% of its parts originating from the US and engineering done in the US, then I'd consider it a US car. That's about the best we can hope for from any manufacturer these days and I think that the Big 3 still use mostly American/Canadian/Mexican workers for all stages of the car build. Anyway, off topic...

The Chrysler commercial did make me have pride in our country even though the car itself is lackluster.

My wife and I enjoyed the two VW car ads the most, we were both cracking up over them. The one with the child wearing the dart vader outfit was the best. This reminded me of two episodes I experianced with my own son.

The first when he was like 3 years old, I was kinda in a humorus mood that day. But anyway my son was outside with my wife and he walked by the water hose. I was in the laundry room watching them both outside enjoying the weather. Anway as my son walked by the watering hose out front I decided to turn on the water. That got his attention and he walked over to it and started to water the plants. I decided I would have some fun and turned off the water after like 20 seconds or so. He rather surprised me and instead of placing the hose back down he started to shake it. So I decided to turn it back on again and he started to water the plants again. Well this went on for like 3 or 4 times, and then I decided to make him shake it alot more and see what happens. I was curious to see if he would just put it down and go to mom. Nope he decided to look directly into that hose and see what happened to the water. Well umm I decided to turn the water back on again and it came splashing onto his face, and had this extremely shocked face. Went running to mom to explain the incident, but of course by the time he came back with mom I turned the water back off again . Mom never did figure how a 2/3 year turned that water on and got himself wet. Boy I wish I had that on film to show his future wife when he finally gets married down the road.

The other time was when he wore that same outfit of darth vader during Halloween. He was on the kinda short side (took after his mom), and the suite was just to big for the little guy and he had a hard time looking through the mask. This commerical brought back some very funny memories for me of my sons childhood.

The chevy ads were well done, but probably because I saw them here on the forums before the game, the impact was reduced somewhat.

My wife also liked the audi commercial as well but she's biased towards Audi but it was a good ad as well.

I don't have a problem at all with that. It's no worse than any other car company showing their top model and then, in big bold letters, show the price of the lowest trim model they have. Nobody will notice those tap shiffters anyway.

On Fox pre-game show, they did a thing with the E Trade babies where all of the babies looked like the Fox sports analysts. The Michael Strahan baby with the gap between teeth was freakin hilarious. The one baby had a receding hairline like Terry Bradshaw. I kept looking for it to be a commercial during the game, but never seen it again.

I loved the Camaro commercials but you're absolutely right, the Eminem, Detroit commercial was amazing.

While it wasn't uplifting as some of the Chevy Runs Deep ads it reminded me that were are ALL apart of this great nation and no matter how bad it gets in one part of the country we can't forget each other, we need to stand up! Detroit IS the motor city and although it's "been through hell"...WE can bring it back!

Chevy only fully paid for one Camaro commerical. The other was done by the New Transformers Movie.

Yes, However in the Desert with mirrors it sounded like a Manual. They screwed up the video Consistently. They were hoping the ladies would keep you from noticing. Finding Three Hot ladies that can drive a Manual must have been harder than they thought or they didn't try hard enough.
