Yep, a group from the VCC will be going north to GM Nationals. The two host on the same day making others choose one over the other. Sad!

2nd Annual Martinsville Motorsports Madness Event!
June 20 - 21, 2015

“To outrun the police and revenuers, bootleggers started souping up their cars by raising the rear ends and putting in two or three carburetors” Ira Seay said. Ira began racing those cars in the 1950s at the Martinsville Speedway and Starkey Speedway in Roanoke County.

JPSS Martinsville Motorsports Madness Autocross, Registration $20.00

We'll be running a tight and technical course that we promise will be fun. This is not a structured SCCA event. This is an invitation to get in some runs for the experienced driver and an invitation to rookies and novice drivers to come out and try it. You'll get lots of runs and enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow drivers.

You must have a SNELL approved helmet. We prefer SA ratings but will accept motorcycle helmets.

Your vehicle must be empty -- EMPTY including floor mats and storage compartments.

Vehicle will go through tech inspection including functional OE seat belts, harnesses, tire tread, under hood and wheels.Fluid leaks, loose batteries, shoddy workmanship will prevent you from entering.

A HUGE Thank You to Thomas Systems for allowing us to use their parking lot for the JPSS MMM Autocross!

JPSS MMM Autocross
140 T. B. Stanley Hwy
Stanleytown, VA 24168

on some GPS systems this will show as Bassett

There will be a white rental four door sedan doing demonstration runs ;-)

New to Va. Had my 1LE since Jan of 2013. Looking forward to getting into the east coast car scene. When is the next event in the area? I am all over the state right now so I'm open to any ideas.

Always a bunch of things going on, we have 3-4 club sponsored events a year, and then all communicate via our facebook page to cruise to local/out of the area events together. We have our cookout coming up, Camaro5 Fest as Edog stated, We have a poker run in the fall, and a bunch of us are going to South Carolina in October for F-Body beach bash.....like i said follow us on facebook and introduce yourself and you will get the invite to events we are planning to attend together.
