That's awesome glad to hear everything is going good. I'm gonna be doing mine pretty soon. The only thing in my case that will be different is I'm gonna have to change my lifters. I'm a little intimidated by that.

When is this event? Thanks for the kind words. I think the reason I'm feeling that way is because I did all my homework on doing the cam swap go comfortable with it then changing the lifters just threw me off lol.

The SW retro makes it sound like 1969 again . With headers it gets even better .

Is it true that the SW retro chambered (ZL1) can actually hurt the dyno numbers when used with a TT?? I ordered the 3" catback to improve the flow over my 2.5" NPP on my 1LE, but now I am nervous it may actually hurt me. Any insight?

You'll be fine running a full 3" system, particularly since the larger exhaust should give you less backpressure, and let the turbos spool a little quicker. Older motors couldn't compensate for changes in backpressure, so if you dropped backpressure without tuning for it, it could hurt performance, but a modern car will automatically compensate.

There is a group of guys who have a YouTube channel called The Smoking Tire, and they have an accompanying podcast on a website called ShoutEngine. Recently, they had a guest on who has worked as an engineer at Magnaflow, and that was one of the things he pointed out. That episode in particular is a good listen.

No, not at all. If anything going to a 3 inch system will help.
