Not into a lot of other supercharger than procharger and the lsa stuff seems great. Haven’t ran a lsa though. The others when vortech or Paxton or whipple or turbos, or Maggie’s can destroy the motor when they fail.

I'd be interested in your source for this information.

With your cam and stall, I don't think you need to worry about low end power. Honestly, I think at that HP level you will have an issue hooking anyway, so moving the power to the upper RPMs (via centri or turbo) seems like the best option to me.

FWIW - I really like the guys at GPI (as I'm guessing you do) and think going with whatever Ryan and crew recommend is going to net you great results without any questions. Having said that, I have to admit the following video made me curious about running turbos with my SS3 cam:

https://youtu.be/SzXjw3Png3E

I know of another user here (Tarendor) that did a DIY turbo setup, but I'm not sure if he had the GPI N/A or turbo cam. His craftsmanship was a step above most DIYers, so it might be worth reaching out to him.

As everyone else suggested, if you're doing the internals later, be sure to buy the appropriately sized fuel system now so you don't have to upgrade it later.

Good luck!

https://eastcoastsupercharging.com/p...en-camaro-263/

If you want cheap the ESS kit with the Vortech V3Si is $5295.

Rup, if you are talking about the G3X kit with fueling options, then yea, its $7000, but you get injectors, ZL1 pump, HPTuners Ngauge and a tune.

ECS's fueling options are injectors and a BAP for $500.
(correct me if I am wrong, just going off their website)

I went bare bones. I did t really go directly through the manufacturer. I got a quote of 6500$ from a dealer here for the G3X. During my build the G3X needed a 2nd or bigger BOV, which racked up another 500$ for parts and labor to get it welded on.

Regardless of the kit OP, just make sure u get something you’ll brown into. I think for me the 1500 will suffice for a loooooooooong time.

That was my first choice. But I really like the placement of the ess filter.. and being able to reach my goal with a bigger pulley seems nice to... I just wanna be boosted lol. If I can find a used centri kit on here when the time comes.. ill even go that route

Easy my personal setups. So Paxton and vortech. I have owned the cars they built they lasted a while. But no where near a 120 k without a issue. And still fell in spec. Whipple same thing. Look on hear and look at the problems with these head units.

Are you saying that if your procharger was to fail, and it spits chunks of metal through your intercooler and into your motor, that your motor somehow would NOT be destroyed?

I'm just trying to understand your logic. Any forced induction method can destroy your motor if it fails. Procharger is no different.

Simply the other head units don’t hold up as long so if you fail two or three times during the life of a procharger. You are likely to hurt something else. Two to three
Times faster.

I did the D1 Stage II tuner kit Prior to D1X being out, as soon as I got it I sold the head unit and bought a F1-A. Built a lower compression re-sleeved ERL superdeck 6 bolt block. PRC 255 heads and a Pat G custom cam. I was in the 830ish - 840ish rwhp range on E-85 and 16lbs but my 1 3/4 SLP headers were choking me out haven't hit the dyno since I upped to 2 inch headers. I have had a couple procharger vehicles, simple bolt on stuff and extremely easy to maintain. If going Centri Procharger is your one stop shop. Bob at Brutespeed can hook you up.
