Got to give the guys a Jannetty’s 10,000 thumbs up. They are world class organization. The quality of their work is second to none. True professionals.
Was that the original oil pump? Was it showing signs of failure? What did it cost? Thank you for your reply.

Warm idle from driving under LOAD (doing a couple hard pulls and idling right after) seems to be about 28.

Does this line up with others’ experiences? I feel like I shouldn’t be worried since I just had the pump replaced under warranty, but at the same time I wish it would just stay pegged at 30 PSI idle regardless of the temperature.

Warm Idle from normal driving: Attachment 1125135

Warm Idle under LOAD: Attachment 1125136
I have to say that mine is the same +/- 1; 29 to 30. Original pump with 1207 miles. 0w/40.

Yes, that was my original pump. No signs of failure. Just my paranoia. I plan to head to the Tail of the Dragon this summer. 2200 miles round trip. I know my luck.

I had some other stuff replaced. C7R timing chain, plugs, pcv fitting for catch can, belts, gaskets, bolts, yadda, yadda. In the end, it was a little over $4k. It’s most labor. Worth every penny, having people who know the ZL1 inside and out, and take pride in their work.

Ok, changed with 0w/40 ESP Dexos. Spirited drive around a bunch of tight turns. Warmed up nicely before any hard driving. Here it is 30-32 psi at idle

Ok, for those who have the Katech pump installed, what is the highest pressure that you have seen? During a spirited launch this morning, my car pegged it at 80psi. I'm not so sure this is good. What do you guys see?
