Old Camaro Lover driving into the light!
Hello to my fellow Camaro Enthusiasts!
I have been looking and lurking in the shadows and decided it is time too... Drive, into the light! I am an Old Camaro lover from way back and my very first car was a 1975 Camaro, I loved that car! Been awhile since I have had one...But, the kids are finally out of the nest and on their own and No more nagging wife, Thank God! I am FREE, to do what I want and Finally, got a new (to me) 2017 2LT - RS package Camaro and Lovin...Every Minute of it. However, she soon, goes into storage, for the Brutal Maine Winter! She is not exactly what I wanted, but she is plenty good enough for this Old Man! I have done a few small changes to her, but not too much, as I am basically using her! My goal was to make sure I really would like the new models and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! Even though they have a few quirks, they are an awesome ride! I also wanted to build up a better credit rating to get what I really want(ed). Which is a 2SS! A Divorce really takes a toll on your credit! But, definitely heading in the right direction, Now! I have learned A LOT from this site/forum and decided to join in and become a contributing member. Look forward to being here for a long time! Here are some photos of my sweety! |

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

Thanks redcoats! I LOVE my car, I really do and if I cannot get a 2SS then I will be happy, Especially after today. I test drove a drove a 2017 Fifty Anniversary today and it was a...Righteous...car! Everything, I have dreamed it could be. You can definitely feel the differences in driving them and the 2SS is a piece of Art...to me anyway! But after Today... doing the test drive in the 2SS, the salesman/dealership, at Yankme Ford (Yankee Ford in Portland) were just beyond rude and tried to major league low-ball me on my car and they would not even discuss anything at all. The dealerships and salespeople in Maine, have some kind of...We are God complex and absolutely disrespectful! I have no desire to deal with any dealerships, especially in Maine, after today! Hopefully someday I can leave this state and go where they treat you better and get my dream car then...if not... Life goes on! |
