I also put on flowmasters American Thunder axle back, and high idle sets off my neighbors car alarm. Along with K&N air charger, the sound is mean when you get on it.

no problem! Also they come with clamps. If i were you i would take it to a proffesional shop and have them weld the exhaust, to prevent any exhaust leak!

Do not do a Muffler Delete as you have a V6, and with a V6, it sounds ShiTe!@
Aggressive, loud drone, mean tone... your best choiCe has to be Flowmaster American Thunder axle-back- had it before, but now settled for Corsa cat-back system for a more suttle tone.

the corsa catback system for the v6 is the best ive ever heard. my friend has the MRT on his 6 and i honestly dont care for it.. it sounds like it pops rice when he gets on it.. maybe because i have a grueling v8 and im used to the chambered sound.. but check out the video on youtube of the corsa catback system i think youll be very pleased.. plus corsa is pretty good about not having any drone when driving..!!

very true, but again, each has their own taste of exhaust tones.

yeah the trick is to have the x-pipe and if anything make sure you can get a 3 inch exhaust mid pipe.. its pointless to go to the same size, theres no performance gains there.. just a different sound.. but i still say v6, corsa all the way.. or check into the cnt racing exhaust, i have it on my SS and i love it. not too obnoxious (flowmaster, magnaflow) has the nice chambered rumble to it and its unmistakably a muscle sound when you get on it.

axel back is fine if you just want the sound, youll need a good sized mid pipe to your cats for any kind of performance.. like it was said to each his own.. but I guess it depends on what our buddy here would like to do with his car.. if i had a 6cyl id save all my money and drop a turbo kit into it

If you want relatively quiet at cruise but at acceleration (even better at WOT) the Borla is a good option. Minimal drone also. Here is a professional quality video of Ruby with hers. Ruby also has a CAI inc cold air intake which also helps improve the sound. There is no WOT on hte clip but you get the idea. Listen with headphones. Apex Chase is a great person to talk to. He helped this newby a lot. He listened (asked me all the right questions to find out) to what I wanted & helped me pick the exhaust (& other mods) that was right for me.
