I would say Yes Yes a thousand times YES! I had the 3.6 in my CTS with a manual and it was a blast! I love my SS and think this car with a V6 would be equally as fun. I would say he shouldn't loose much on this deal. His car has an auto and less miles so it's worth more. I would see if they would do an even trade.

Urgent Advice Please!!!
I'd just remind you that you'd have to shift ALL the time...and if that isn't appealing to you, don't do it. You already have a really nice A6 Summit White.
But...Just my .02cents |

If you bought your car new your interest rate would be lower and finance term would be longer. If you buy a used car the interest rate will be higher with shorter term finance. But if you pay cash for your cars ( GO FOR IT )

I really like the looks of your white one. I would say that it is alot more rare of a colour, but the manual is alot of fun to drive and more racey sounding when you are downshifting. I vote 6 speed.

Agreed. Plus you have to consider the kind of driving you do. A lot of city driving? Manual may be a pain after awhile.

Dude..seriously get the manual!! There's nothing quite like rev-match downshifting, a 5000rpm dump of the clutch, power-shifting, or just the overall coolness of a manual..And yes it does get a little old in city driving, but the pros far outweigh the cons in my opinion!!! Oh, and if nothing else your left leg will get stronger!!!

It's up to you I suggest as other have said learn how to drive a manual 1st does not make much sense to trade in your 6-speed auto w/ manual tap shift for a car that is maunal and you cannot even drive it off the used car lot. Not sure how the trade will work you will have to get it refinanced and most of the time rates are different on used v.s new (I would check this before you go ahead with the deal)
IMHO I do not think it's worth it you have a manual car now just slap it down to "S" and use the paddle shifters. Sean
