Problem is when you reach that 'tad', you realize the next 'tad' is so close, so you g ahead to the next 'tad'. Of course the next 'tad'/ requres a 'pinch' to make it work. No problem, however a 'tad' and a 'pinch' together make the NEXT 'tad' right there. So you go ahead to the next 'tad'.

But it looks like you ran out of 'tads' on this one.

Thx Pete. Definitely will need your substantial grey matter on suspension settings at C5Fest... ...otherwise the launch into the wall would be a bad joke.

You and me both. Last year was such a blur - so many people in such a short period of time. Felt like the receiving line at a wedding...

The kind of neat thing is that you can run it like that as it drives in the gate. Tweak a knob for boost, a couple of knobs for coil-overs, lower the tire pressure and have some fun with all the other great C5ers !

Does it idle at 1300rpm or is it just because it's on the dyno?

He sounded real pleased with the AFR... no fuel feed problems huh? BTW, that fuel regulator setup on back of the intake is cool!

The pulls in this video are all back-to-back done in the wee hours of the morning. Heck we even blew the intercooler off at the 4:40 mark !! ...and the cabinet door flew open at 3:25...ha, ha.

Made 1450 HP at 28 psi. We felt it would be smart to cut the pull at 6,000 - I was a little nervous about blowing the 4 bolt heads off before C5FestII. Will put on the 6 bolt heads after we put in the electronic controller but that won't be until after the fest since the intake base has to be modified. Tom had asked me a long time ago, but I dragged my feet. A little busy at the office.

I will tell you - I am very happy with the results so far. The amount of R&D we did on this whole project has been really cool. Learned a ton. Still think we will hit the goal of full streetability and 20+ mpg too...

Edit: I forgot one other little detail. You will note that even though it was setup on the dyno so that the piping would work, the ATW intercooler didn't actually have any water going through it on these pulls. Happy April Fool's day...

Also, if you watch after the credits, there is a 10 second clip that the SST does actually exist...lol

So without further ado:

that was so beautiful, that thing really IS a monster high in the revs

Nelson didn't even flinch....
I bet he did... If it sounds anything like blowing a ATAAC joint off of a big truck @30psi, sounds like a bomb!
