"SNEAK PEEK" Pre-SEMA Pics of my car
For those of you that have been following my thread I have been back and forth trying different methods of getting rid of my Mail Slot. As you can see I have a SEIBON BB Hood. With the hood slots, I did not want to have the mail slot on the front of my car. First thing I tried was a V-6 Bumper. It got rid of the mail-slot but then I put the car next to another SS. Come to find out the SS Front Bumper is wider, has a molded front chin and (After I tried to put my SS lower Phantom Grille on) the lower opening is larger. I had a body shop fill in the mail-slot but I could still see a line where the mail slot was and the stripe on the hood looked incomplete. I took the car to the custom concepts body shopin Brownsville and asked for their help, since they were modding other parts on my car. This is a result of their work. They overlayed the area, you can NOT even feel an indentation of the actual Carbon Fiber overlay. I can't say enough about their work. Whether Carbon fiber is " your thing" or not, you can't deny the quality of work they produce. Here are a few pics of some of the mod's. Shift Boot, gauge pack, center console, door panel, window switch, arm-rest etc etc. PS for those of you that are considering the shift boot, there are absolutely NO issues with heat or noise through the cover as some people have mentioned. I drive my car (19k) at this point and have had no issue with that at all. Purchased my gauges from Southwest Speed (Ivan) great people to deal with. I'll be at TMS and Super Chevy if you want to take a look. Any questions Holla at me

Inside is getting a little over done - looks nice but draw the line with the carbon fiber.

Looks good but, as you said "wether carbon fiber is your thing or not" well...its not with me. They did an excellent job getting rid of the mail slot. For some reason carbon fiber reminds me of snakeskin. Carbon fiber is strong and light and can also be painted over...I like carbon fiber but would paint over it...I like colors and contrast
