I did the same thing - took the other to the hardware store for sizing and picked up a couple that were just a tiny bit longer. The replacements are black too

ya just take the other one to the hardware store. Make sure you put it in a ziplock bag or it will magically disappear on your way.

I almost lost one......I was trying to be really careful and it still slipped off and fell into the motor compartment. I only heard it hit something once though.....I was like, no way that made it to the ground. Looked everywhere under the car and no dice.............I got lucky enough to take and air hose and shoot around where I thought it went and sure enough....about 30 seconds of air, I looked under the car again and there it was......SHEWWWW!!!

You have a CAI intake. The screws they started making their kits with were 8-32 X .25" long stainless cap head screws. They changed the kits (not sure when) to metric screws, #4 X .7 threads X 8 mm long.

So I lost one once.
Being I am a computer technician I noticed that the large case screws that hold the side panels of many aftermarket PC cases on are the perfect size for our MAF sensors. They were a near perfect match.

If you have a spare PC laying around with those large head thumb screws, give it a try. Worked great for me. Or you could just order the correct ones. I needed one in a pinch and it turned out to be perfect and actually an upgrade as Vararam included plastic screws for their MAF sensor. Lame.
