Go to Chevy.com. Build an SS camaro. Check the performance package option. Voila. 1LE.

Dealers don't know about these because they often don't order them. Customer have to order them unless you can find some floating around the country.

The 1Le had specific gears, steering wheel, Tremec 6060 shifter, wheels, tires stretched on larger back wheels and suspension & handling mods plus monotube rear dampers. It's a track car.

Actually yes it is. It has several similarities. For the average person who is not well versed in Camaros its a good way to describe it since alot of the upgrades are sourced or inspired from the ZL1. Its not a ZL1 but to say it isnt ANYTHING LIKE a ZL1 is incorrect:

GM lists the option on the window sticker as SS Performance Package.

Was a litttle perturbed though that the op didnt know how to find this info, sure there isnt a big published release on the 14 like there was with the 13 but the 13 press release is still relavant and is at the top of the 1LE section, I mean you cant miss it if you tried. Sorry for my rant.

Camaro Badassery package that for $3500 turns an ordinary Camaro SS into butt cheek clinching, teeth clinching, ear to ear grinning pleasure after said owner realizes Chevy should be charging hellofaton more for such badassery.

That is a 1LE.

I went to my local dealer back in May and they didn't know what it was either. After weeks of searching the Chevy website I found one that had just come off the truck at another dealer, and even they did not know what it was. I traded in my 2010 2SS and never looked back. Let me tell you, this is twice the car that my old bumble bee was. Granted the old one was an automatic, but the 1LE is a wicked ride. I have a buddy that is a motorcycle cop in Huntington Beach, and he had never even seen one before. I'm holding on to this car, it is going to be worth something someday.

oh and I agree that these will be worth money one day. but its gonna be damn hard to keep miles off of it.

It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?
